How and Why You Should Use Organic Arugula Seeds for Sprouting

Organic Arugula Seeds make a great condiment all on their own. But their foremost use is to grow microgreens that are among the most nutritious and antioxidant-rich foods you can find. Organic Arugula Sprouts will give you a dose of iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc, vitamin C and varied B vitamins in every serving. They also taste great, so it’s very easy to include this microgreen into any well-balanced diet.
As arugula is a type of mustard, you can enjoy edible arugula seeds right as they are. Add them to salads, marinades, pickled foods, or grind into powder to use in spice mixes. However, it’s definitely best to use Organic Arugula Seeds for sprouting. This way you’ll get more nutritional benefits out of them.
Organic Arugula Sprouting Seeds are very easy to manage even if you are a complete beginner. All you need is a container and a bit of potting soil. See detailed instructions below.

How to Use Organic Arugula Seeds in the Kitchen

Whether you choose to use organic arugula seeds for sprouting or cooking, you’ll be able to enjoy their rather complex and rich flavor. Arugula goes extremely well with pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and salads.
You can use organic arugula sprouts raw, to get the maximum nutritional benefits. But you can also add them to soups and stews at the end of the cooking process.
After the harvest, keep sprouts in an aired container in the fridge for up to a week. Seeds should be stored in a dry and cool place away from sunlight. You can buy organic arugula seeds in bulk as they can stay viable for up to six years. Note that Organic Arugula Sprouts taste milder than mature plants. However, they still have the complex mix of the earthy, spice, and grassy flavors as full-grown arugula.

How to Grow Organic Arugula Microgreens:

• Take a 10x20 plant propagation tray and fill it up with 2 inches of soil • Make sure the soil is free of debris, and the surface is flat • Wet the soil thoroughly • Take 1oz (30ml) of arugula seeds and equally distribute across planting surface • Cover the container to block the light and place it in a low-light, cool area (70F/21C) • Keep out of light for 72 hours, and mist with a spray once, daily • On day 4 or 5 microgreens will reach 1 inch. Uncover and place into a well-lit area • When greens reach 3 inches and produce open leaves, they’re ready for harvest • Cut microgreens about ¼ inch above the soil • Store dry. Enjoy up to 7 days
