What is Red Rice

Organic red rice is a raw product that retains a red-brown shell containing the most valuable substances. These grains go well with dried fruits, vegetables, seafood, and mushrooms. It's great for cooking soups, risotto, desserts, and casseroles. Additionally, it is a well-known ingredient in salads.

What’s inside

Red rice dishes are easy to cook. They have a nutty taste and pleasant bready aroma with floral notes. Moreover, it gives a feeling of satiety for a long time. This grain will surprise you with its chemical composition and beneficial properties as it's loaded with minerals, fatty acids (omega-3), fiber, and protein. Unfortunately, Red rice is high in calories, but it's worth it. The red color of rice is due to its husk has not been removed. Unhusked rice contains more nutrients than the polished one because the upper layers contain the highest amount of nutrients.

Cooking Red Rice

The process of red rice cooking takes a long time - 45 minutes. To speed up the process, you dunk the grains in a bowl with water for 12 hours; using this trick, the cooking time can be reduced by 20-25 minutes. You can even get creative and mix it into some salad seasonings. Don't forget to try adding some Organic Spinach Powder to your casseroles to enhance the taste.
