If you ever tried to take the skin off of hazelnuts, you might know it’s a troublesome business. Leave it to us! Meet Food to Live’s signature Organic Dry Roasted Blanched Hazelnuts with Himalayan Salt. Firstly, we scald Organic Filberts with boiling water to remove the skin, then we lightly season them with mineral-rich Himalayan Pink Salt, and finally, we dry-roast them in the oven with no oil added. The result is simply phenomenal – they’re crunchy, fragrant, and salty just enough!

Nutritional Value of Organic Roasted vs Organic Raw Blanched Hazelnuts

When comparing the two, roasted hazelnuts are higher in Potassium and Thiamine, while raw hazelnuts contain a bit more Vitamin C and Folate. As for the rest, roasted and unroasted hazelnuts share almost the same nutritional value. Bear in mind that roasting does not affect the number of antioxidants (Lutein and Zeaxanthin) present in the nuts, and they remain a great source of Omega-3, Manganese, Magnesium, Copper, and Vitamin E. Moreover, they stay rich in dietary fiber and healthy fats, which, by the way, make them great for Keto and Paleo diets.

Ways to Use Organic Dry Roasted Blanched Hazelnuts

Grab a bag of Organic Roasted & Salted Blanched Hazelnuts when going on a hike, to school, or office. Besides being just a great snack, a handful of chopped filberts can be added to your salads, stews, pasta, hummus, and rice. They will also complement your baked goodies, confections, and homemade chocolate. Moreover, toasted hazelnuts taste amazing when combined with yogurt, oatmeal, or muesli.

Storage Recommendations

Store Organic Dry Roasted & Salted Blanched Hazelnuts in an airtight container or a sealable plastic bag in a cool dry place, or freeze them up to 1.5 years.
