Organic quinoa flour is the most nutritious type of grain flour. Quinoa was a staple food for South American Indians living in the Andes mountains and, due to its nutritional properties, has been called the "mother of all grains". This product is an excellent source of vegetable protein, as it provides all essential amino acids. It also contains iron, B vitamins, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, vitamin E, and fiber. Quinoa flour is a great addition to vegetarian, vegan, and Sirtfood diet.

Food to Live’s stoneground Organic Quinoa Flour is made by grinding quinoa seeds to a fine consistency. Even after mechanical processing, the flour retains all beneficial properties, especially vegetable protein. Store finely ground organic quinoa flour in an airtight container, in a cool, dark cabinet, away from heat and sunlight, or even freeze it. Keep the lid tightly closed when not in use. The best way to tell if the flour is fresh is by its scent. If it has a musty, dusty or sour smell, then it has gone bad. Organic quinoa flour is perfect for baking, creating sauces and energy drinks. Quinoa flour imparts a light nutty aroma, with a slight vegetable flavor. It does not contain the same properties as wheat flour therefore, if used for preparing dough, it is necessary to take into account the fact that without a binder, baked products made from quinoa flour, will be brittle and prone to crumbling.
